Buy Local, It Tastes Better!
  Get to Know Your Farmer;
Everyone Should Have One!
  We are Adam, Sue, Cameron, and Anders Dick, and we feel very strongly about food safety, nutrition, and the humane treatment of farm animals.

Ivy Hill is a small family farm in Southeastern Manitoba. We founded this farm because we feel very strongly about food safety, nutrition and the humane treatment of animals. We believe in a one-on-one relationship with our customers and as such market our meats directly to the general public with no middle man.

Everything on our farm was conceived of from scratch. From our ‘green’ house (designed by 5468796 architecture and built primarily by us), to our land stewardship and husbandry practices, we strive for sustainability wherever possible.

We are doing our part to preserve genetic diversity for the future by raising heritage breeds. These breeds do better on pasture and with minimal input from us to produce a better, leaner, more authentic- flavoured product. For more on our heritage breeds, visit the Our Animals page.

Food the Way Nature Intended

Free from sub-therapeutic antibiotics and never implanted with steroids or hormones our animals live happy natural lives outdoors on pasture year-round.

Eating local gives you the freshest product possible as well as contributing to the preservation of the small family farm.

We invite you to come visit our farm and buy your food right from the source!
